Ava DuVernay and Autumn Riley

Ava DuVernay is a Californian born in Long Beach, California on 24 August 1972. DuVernay was encouraged to pursue her love of art by DuVernay's aunt Denise at the age of a small girl. Aunt Denise worked as an overnight nursing assistant so that she could have the chance to learn about art and literature, or even theater. DuVernay was captivated by the 1961 movie West Side Story after her aunt introduced it to DuVernay. DuVernay learned the art of being a good instrument to engage in political activism. Similarly DuVernay's mother was socially conscious and taught her to say something through art. Although DuVernay grew up in Compton with her family she was a summer resident in Lowndes County Alabama where her parents lived for many generations. Her father recalled watching the Civil Rights Movement's historic march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge near the town of Selma Alabama. Her summers in Selma, Alabama would influence her later on to create the film about Martin Luther King Jr. Martin Luther King Jr. In the year 1990, DuVernay completed her studies at Saint Joseph High School in Lakewood California. After graduating she attended an institution called the University of California Los Angeles where she received certificates in English as well as African American studies. DuVernay began producing for the broadcast industry while she was still in the college. She was an intern with CBS News at the time of O.J. Simpson trial. DuVernay recalled being instructed to look at the trash of a jury member's home. In the course of her work she began to feel dissatisfied by journalism and moved into the business of publicity. DuVernay found a job immediately out college, as a new publicist at a studio. The company she founded for her own PR, The DuVernay Agency was founded in 1999. Besides PR, the agency established several lifestyle platforms including Urban Beauty Collective, Urban Thought Collective Urban Eye, HelloBeautiful. Autumn Riley.............................Autumn Riley was born in Los Angeles United States. Autumn Riley is born with the birth sign of. She is a performer, popularly known for American Experience (1987) and A More Perfect Union (2009). Autumn was the Rose of A More Perfect Union and Anna Payne of American Experience.
